Best place to put £4k?
Whats my best option for putting £4000 in a savings account? If possible i'd like to have access to it so im thinking maybe two seperate ISA's? Additional Details Also how much intrest would i get per month?
Bet £4,000 on betfair on Interest rates going up .25% at 1.11 tonight and you will make 11% in 24 hours. If they put interest rates up .5% you lose the lot. but as all the economists have advised them to put them up .25% and they always put them up .25% and national savings have increased their rates in anticipation it's a pretty sure thing. You could bet part of you money though - and place a bet on the FTSE going down as the traders in the LSE panic! Or play safe and put it in that Icelandic bank Ice save or something they pay 6.9% per year or something like that. If the MPC at the Bank of England put interest rates up .25% spend your money drowning your sorrows - I'll do the celebrating! LOL
wooo!!
Put your money in something called an ica you can earn double the interest than in a savings account.
