Best way to invest?
Well, I have few thousand Pounds saving. I got to save at least £30,000 this year before February 2009( a year from now). I am saving at least £1300 a month. But that wont make me £30,000 so I was looking for places where I would be able to make upto £30,000 in some way in a legal way!

I looked for banks interests, and other places but those wont help either!

So, if you have any good ideas, please share. Thanks for your time.

go to the money expert website for tips....

there is a link from the GMTV website... sorry cant remember the website myself.

I would suggest high interest savings account or a short term ISA

Looks very unlikely that you'd be able to do that, given the information you've provided. If you invest £1300 per month at a rate of 10%pa, you end up with less than £1000 in interest by the end of the year. If you had the money up front, and invested all of it for the duration of the year, you'd start with £15,600, and would hence receive £1,560, which still doesn't add up to £30,000.

After a quick calculation, I reckon to get £30,000 you'd need to be able to earn 170% interest per year, at a fixed rate and after tax if you start with nothing, and add £1300 per month.

All I can suggest is that you get another job that pays better.

The only realistic way for you to do this is through purchasing assets which are likely to increase in value materially over the next few months, but there is obviously no way to guarantee that this will happen. Given the short time-frame, shares are probably the best alternative, and now prices are pretty low, particularly the banks given the Northern Rock fiasco: this is probably under-valuing Barclays and Royal Bank of Scotland shares signficantly, so there is a chance that you could achieve your goal within 12 months if you bought soon. However, it is difficult to guess whether prices might fall further: watch the share prices. www.finysis.net provides a good selection of products to help your decision-making.
