In context the passage defines rich. It also says it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. It doesn't say he can't. |

Through the eye of a needle. Look at the rich men mentioned in the Bible. We cannot say who goes to heaven. Remember, we are not supposed to even wonder who will go to heaven. One of the aposiles asked Christ if Judus was going to heaven and the Lord's response was thet it was not up to us to even wonder. Think that means that we must concentrate on doing God's will and not worrying about if a certain person will make it there. |

as long as you dont assume that you are better than everyone else just because you have money, then yes. also, donate to charities along the way if you are that loaded, and just generally be a nice guy. don't do it because you just want to be good enough to get into heaven, but because you really want to make an honest effort to be nice |

what i think is yes.. if u r doing wat the god wants u to do.. remember that god wants u to prosper as well.. different ppl may prosper in different areas.. like businessman may prosper in wealth.. but ur mindset must be right as in u are building wealth for the kingdon of god and not yourself.. listen to the spirit n be obedience... if he wants u to give, give willingly.. cause that is the reason why he wants to be wealthy.. to help others...blessed other with wat u have been blessed with.. then u are pleasing god.. n god will pour more blessing on u because god favour a generous giver.. hmm.. but we doesnt have the say anyway.. only God does.. :D Bless U |

A rich man can certainly get into heaven; it is just much harder than someone who is poor. For example, Bill Gates would never give up 39.999 billion dollars and live on $1 million. He donates excess wealth, never wealth that would cause him to make a "sacrifice." Non-wealthy people often make donations that are "sacrifices." In Jesus eye's, helping people when it is a hardship is much more noble than helping people when it is easy. This is what Jesus means.
If a rich person were to donate enough money (or time) that in he/she actually had to sacrifice something (providing that they live in otherwise good life), then yeah, they'll go to heaven. |

No Jesus clearly states a rich man can not go to heaven
"it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle"
Considering a camel CAN NOT go through an eye of a needle it's clearly a NO for the rich going to heaven. The only way is to give away their riches to others. |
