Share market is a market where you can buy and sell shares of companies listed in the market. It is also called a stock exchange and major cities of India had stock exchanges where people engaged in share trading. As time progressed stock exchanges became computerised and share trading was done at the national level mainly in two stock exchanges namely the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange. BSE is the oldest stock exchange in India and NSE is one of the large stock exchanges in the world.
