Trey | Can anyone just walk into wall street and trade in the stock market? |
|

Wall St. is just a street in New York. If you walked into the New York Stock Exchange, for example, you could only go in as a visitor. If you bought a seat on the exchange then you could "trade in the stock market," with your own money. If you passed the series 7 exam and other certs you could trade for others. To "just trade" you could open a brokerage account and then trade. So anyone who can open a brokerage account can trade, they need not visit Wall Street. |

Yes! Via a stock broker! |

If you mean trading directly on the Exchanges, no. You have to be a member of the exchange, and pay fees |

You can open an account with a broker. They do the "trading" for you based upon your "orders". This is the way most people trade.
Elsewise, you can go to work for a "member firm" which belongs to the exchanges and trade through them. (Series 7 is not required to trade. It is just required if you have client contact. Most traders get their Series 7 anyway since they will tend to speak to clients.) |

No, you have to have special training, licenses and affiliations. It's hard work, but you can do it!
Or, not. |

No you have to take a test called your series seven and pass it. And then hired by a company. There are websites where you can open an account and trade that way |
