EVERYONE including Warren, who has tried to call the bottom in the market has been wrong by a mile.
I would not try to time the bottom.
If you have a 15+ year time frame I would be dollar cost averaging into the S&P 500 Index. |

Yes Definitely you can. Because, the shares of some of India's greatest companies are available at throw away prices. If you buy now and hold it for atleast a year then you are sure to make gains once the market is back on its feet.
Remember: Do not expect short term gains in this volatile market. Invest only if you are ready to wait for atleast 6 - 12 months.
Buying shares is something that requires lot of careful analysis and selection if we want our money to get good returns. Since market instruments come with a RISK attached to them, it is all the more important to choose our stocks carefully because after all it is our hard earned money that we Invest. Investments made out of impulse or out of tips from friends or colleagues may work out in a Bull Market but may seldom workout in Bear Markets. During such testing times one thing all of us need to know is "How to Choose a Good Stock"

yes. this is the best time to invest in shares because they are at their low now. But you have to invest in such shares which show a promise to resurrect from inflation. For that you have to have proper guidance and study the company you are investing in.Other wise everything might backfire. |

this is not the right time to "invest". this is a trader's market. not investor's.
see we (India) r in bear market. and if the lows made in october r the real bottom for this market, then they have to be tested many times.
so the market will be where it is now until next 7-8 months.
but if the sensex comes to 6000, then u can start investing.
otherwise u invest through mutual funds by SIP. |

Ya you can invest in market as most of the stocks are all time low and may dip further.
You need to have patience and must invest in long run or a time span of more than a year. Pick the right stock which which will definitely rise in future or take suggestions from the experts.
You need to have a good grip of the market or you need to follows someone's suggestions who is there in market and have gone through bad times of it.
I suggest you to invest minimum into stocks as you have no idea and try to go through this following site in suggestion to get good signals on buy and sell.
Am not here to promote the site but i have gone through it and it is really worth.try it and if good mail me back |

YES! provided you have the patient to hold for three years and knowledge to find out fundamentally sound stocks If you are NEW TO stock market please study by discussing with the knowlegeble people around youor people connected with the Finance and accounts who have invested in the market.Never ever go with the crowed mentality listen to your intuition. if you can understand EPS and PE than SELECT THE SHARES OF THE COMPANIES OF SENSEX AND divide PE BY EPS OF THE STOCK VALUE IF IT IS LESS THAN EQUAL TO ONE INVEST SOME AMOUNT TO that company's share and so on but your portfolio should be not more than 3 lakhs, forget thereafter even don't look into your investment so often wait for three years and cover the profit at that time. all the best. |
