Can you major in Investing?
Is it possible to receive a degree in investing, or even a minor of sorts? And what would I have to do in order to get a job doing this type of work at a company? Thanks once again for y'alls help!!
Major in finance. Get a job at a major bank while in college, and then become a financial advisor when you can move up. Good luck.

I think the closest you can come to an "Investing" major is Finance. Lots of colleges offer this as a major - especially if they have a strong business school. You may then have the opportunity to choose Investing as a concentration (maybe) or at least take a few courses dealing with it.

um... you could probably major in economics, but I don't know about investing--although you might be able to earn an investment certificate, I could be wrong though...

The sad thing is, there is no degree in Investing. The closest thing is Finance or Financial Management.
