Currnecy Trading?

Before i start, i just want to say good on ya for wanting to try it. MANY people say that its all a fraud and you'll just lose all your money if you do forex. But that isn't true and all of this is an entire learning experience on the condition that the money you have is money that your willing to lose. The articles in those links are related to the writers trading experiences!

Forex is a very risky venture, where mere inexperience can cause you an entire loss of your funds. Through reading, practise and more practise, you will slowly get the hang of it. Heres are intros on articles that very much suit a beginner in your position!

The forex market can be a daunting arena for new traders; and for some, simply not knowing simple concepts means huge losses. So it is important to learn forex concepts that are important in trading successfully. As you learn these forex concepts you may find some concepts familiar while others foreign. All it takes is a bit of effort and determination to master a few basic fundamental concepts of forex trading.

This is just a short intro i copied and pasted. There are around 15+ helpful articles for beginners in the 'forex resources' section. If you think this is a substantial amount of info, go towards 'live forex rates' to join up & try it out.

Here are some reviews of a book that has helped many beginning forex traders:

For 10k you wont make a substantial profit/loss as the swings in rates are not as extreme as stocks.. Good place to start with that kind of cash is oanda.com.. didnt find it too interesting as a means of investment as the returns are too minuscule compared to shares.. so my experience with currency trading is limited.. though I would look at shorting the dollar and go for Asian currencies like the singapore dollar or Indonesian Rupiah..

Blanston
Yes. You can but there is risk in the forex and extreme risk. But it can be managed. I am making 10.22 in interest splitting my money a few trade currencies that hedge the trade. In other words by one currency with dollar on nominator side and one with it on the denomnator side and the Then as it goes up and down I am making money on trades. If you were doing this program you would be making 31.00 dollars a day in interest and then making money as the trades go up and down. Depending on your risk tolerance. I am getting a monthly return above market rates trading conservatively.

Here is a squido site for fxbootcamp that has several good video, if youll take the time to watch these you can learn a lot.

I like Oanda for a starting broker because you can trade with as little as 1 cent a pip on the line, of course youll only be making 1 cent a pip. then as you improve you can step it up a penny or a dime or what ever.
The only bad thing about them is 50:1 leverage and there spread gets very wide during news times.

I also agree with babypips good site.

a short but very good ebook

Here is a good site to learn about the indicators. Just look all over it.

Use Oanda as a demo account. It doesn't expire so you will have as long as you need to practice.

Forex trading is not so difficult as it looks from first view.
Firstly you need to spend some time for education and then practice, practice and practice on demo account.
Remember that "trend is best your friend" Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose but main thing is final balance. For example during last year my worse trading month balance was +12% of principal and the best month was +357% of principal. But it'is possible to gain much more.

Never risk more than 3-5% of your deposit. (if mini account then not more than 7%).

Also one important thing: ALWAYS ACT ACCORDINGLY TO YOUR TRADING PLAN.

Oanda is good but I don't like their terminal. I preffer metastock trader

I'm trading already few years and doing well. I pay to my investors at least 5% monthly

I agree with Hotdog, Oanda is good. Forex, though, is notoriously difficult to trade. But by all means...consider the 10k tuition. My guess is that you'll be tapped out very quickly. You're way too under capitalized to survive for long and it's a brutal market.
