Day trading?
I read a lot about day trading and i found out that all the transcations are settled for a day.then will we get the amount be credited/debited in our account by evening or will it take the regular transcation time of T+2 days to credit/debit in our account?

You should get the money in your account the same day you sell the stock, so long as the market hasn't closed for the day...

With that being said I'd think long and hard about day trading... most folks who do it end up losing their money over time. The problem with day trading is that you get charged so many transaction fee's by the broker, and you won't have the kind of insider information to know when a merger is going to take place or when less than expected earnings are about to be announced that will affect the stock price up or down. Your are just as well to go to vegas and lay the money on black or red on the roulette wheel... at least then the house only takes 1% of all bets- the brokers take a lot more than that in fees.

Read some more. Sure you will see the rare few who make money at day trading. Most will not regardless of what they think they know.

They miss the point of the core of investing means. Which is paying attention to market trends, investing in stocks and waiting until they go up. You leave them alone for the most part and only shift a bit here and there.

You also invest money in mutuals, CDs and such. Slow growth pays off in the end.

But of course you keep a small account aside that you can use to play in the markets. But it is money that you can afford to lose.

In day trading, the amount is credited/debited instantly to your trading account on completion of each buy/sell transaction. If there has been a credit, for example, you can use the available amount for further transaction, which could be for another day trading transaction or for a buy for delivery. For the actual withdrawing of the money from your trdg acct, you've to wait, as I know, for T+2 days.

As per rules it should be credited on T+2 basis. But if you run debits on your account, the broker will ask for instant payments. For a regular client this should not prove a problem since they can enjoy credits.

Although the trades and positions are squared off on the same day, the money is still settled on T+2 basis. So you would get the money for today's intraday trading, after two days.
But as said before, intraday trading is highly riskier - unless you understand the full movements of the stocks, do not enter into it.

depends on your broker and the type of trading you are doing. some you need to wait for trades to settle. some you can withdraw money instantly.
