Nope, I got scared out in 2007, based on what was going on, so the crash was a spectator sport for me. Clearly, I am not kicking myself since I am only waiting for an opportune time to rejoin the party. |

I get scared when stocks are new highs, not new lows. You are more likely to fall from the highs not the lows.
So I got out in June '07 and missed this tumble. I went in at the low in Nov. and made 20% and got back out. But as of today we are close to my last exit point. So at the moment that is a wash from staying in from Nov.. But I'm not sure we have seen the low.
I expect to get back next year when I think things might turn up. But I can't see that yet. I would rather miss a little of the rally than take the losses. |

I turned 18 in july, right after the crash started. On Dec 6 I invested nearly $900 in a few different stocks (PLD, LYV, FO). I now have $2106 in my account, all from that 900. I'm gonna invest $1000 more within a week once I find the right stocks that I have know;edge of.
I Kno nothing about stocks and figure that $1900 would of went to games anyway so I have nothin to lose lol. My thought is we have been through the worse and it will only get better. |
