BIG-G | Do you believe wall street will straighten itself out without the bailout option? |

Yes it will. The crooks have to be allowed to lose their money. Taxpayers should not bail them out so they can keep their multimillion dollar bonuses intact.
Everything George Bush says on this subject is a downright lie. |

The bailout should not be an option.
This is what happens when you force out the little guy for big business. Eventually big business will go corrupt and end up broke then we fall to our knees wondering how this happened.
Bring back the little guy. |

I think it will. It should right itself pretty soon without any help. Bush just needs to butt out and let it run its own course! :) |

Eventually but with a lot of casualties..from from million dollar executives to min. wage Joe Sixpack. This could be the business bubble burst like the dot com days where the strong survived and the weak weeded out. |

Sure will. Market over reacts to uncertainty. It is cyclical.
Whatever you do, do not sell in this down market. It is like catching a falling knife. You will regret it to no end.
That said, go back to historical records. Dow and the market has ALWAYS bounced back, recovering all its losses and over shoots the point from which it had a huge drop. And then it continues its march upward. So for now, do nothing. That's my best advise to everyone who is reading in this forum.
What can you do at this point? Watch the political developments. It takes the sixth sense to smell uptick. If you have cash, be ready to pounce and buy quality shares that are going at fire sale right now.
So, fasten your seat belt. Weather the storm. It will blow over. When the sun shines again on your face, I bet you will be smiling again. |

The bailout is talking about the ability to hand out credit. The stock market will be fine before our loan structures are. This bailout option is necessary for those who dont have the capital for buying a house, and are in need of a loan. Without the bailout these people will be out of luck. |

Wall Stree is fine. It righted itself yesterday. |

Yes, I have no doubt that it would. The question is, how much pain are you prepared for your fellow man to take in the process? If something isn't done, kiss your pensions goodbye, say ta ta to that college degree, no car for you sonny, I can't get a loan. Forget about a new house, you must live where you are at for the next 20 years. No need to cut up that credit card, they're no good anyway.
People are so short sighted they will cut off their nose just to stick it to the successful. Sad. |

In all likelyhood it will "straighten itself" just as it did in 1929.
Expect a crash, and soon. |
