they are on that track at the moment but bureaucrats have a tendency to make big mistakes and China is loaded with them. China is rather short of natural resources also. Of course they are not the only country. Then there is the question of Taiwan. I can just see China deciding to take it over forcefully. I wonder what impact that might have.
