Once you get to about $5,000, yes, but not only american stocks and I would wait until after the effects of this government bailout package. Right now is a horrible time. I day trade and this is the first time in 5 years that I have stayed away. |

Save your money.
There's no sense in Investing on the stock market now. I would wait at least 6 months before considering investing. I day trade full time & rarely own a stock over night. There's so much more bad news on the horizon which will drawn down the over all market.
If I had one sector to pick, I would buy Gold long. I trade GRS a lot & it's paid off well.
