I'd establish a high yield cash reserve and invest cautiously a mutual fund.

raysor
Almost definitely. If you have the spare cash, invest in strong, well managed, well funded companies and hold for maybe 3 years. Telecoms. oils, pharmaceuticals even banks!

Personal judgment call. Last month everyone was saying that the market had reached bottom. Then it dropped 3,000 points more.

Anytime you think the market is low enough to make a turn around and go back up, buy your shares. Don't try to time it to the precise day, or you will miss the turn around and buy at a higher price than you would have paid now.

Be willing to hold the stocks long term if necessary to make a gain.

alex
yes it is but don't go all-in

keep some cash in reserve just in case the market drops more

I was just watching mad money the other day and the man said invest in companies like Campbell's, kraft, etc.

TEL BOY
depends if they are cheap enough and you believe they will rise to make you a large enough profit but its basically all guess work and finger crossing

Right now we are in economy crisis.
What if the shares go even more down.
You'll lose money
You could try to get shares from fast food companies.
People are more depressed now so they eat out more.
Whatever happens, people will always eat fast food.
