Do you think it is possible that the world economy will have a complete crash in this century?
Please explain

I am good at investing, but so afraid of a total crash

It is a possibility. A larger war can happen or - more likely - our natural resources are all getting close to be finished and this could mean an end to the economies like we know them. Less transportation means less trade.
And stocks, bonds, funds - in the end are nothing but paper. And so is money in a bank - if the bank ceases to exist the money is gone too. Very unlikely but not completely impossible.

Therefore - if you are really very afraid - why don't you consider a mix of assets. Some can be stocks, bonds funds whatever but some should be real estate, real good real estate with own water sources and a large enough garden to grow food or precious metals, I mean the real thing, like having gold bars in your bank safe. Or - as my grandma always emphasized...in a war the most precious were: coffee, cigarettes and good shoes.

But history also shows that - even when there was a complete crash and the economy was gone for a number of years - if you wait long enough it recovers and grows even faster than before.

Yes becuase our natural resource is fossil fuels and that is about to run out especialy after the hurricans!

HIGHLY UNLIKELY AS ALL THE COUNTRIES WOULD GET TOGETHER TO AVOID IT AS IT WOULD BE IN NONE OF THEIR INTERESTS TO HAVE A COLLAPSE .

ahm,

NO.

did you miss Econ 101?

muncie birder
It is not beyond the relm of possibility. Let's attempt to develop a scenario in which it might happen. The industrialized world economy is absolutely dependent upon fossil fuels. What do you think is going to happen to the industrialized world economy when fossil fuels become ever more scarcer and scarcer? They stopped making that stuff about 10 million years ago give or take a few million years.

One possibility is economic collapse. But that actually in not the most likely possibility. A much more likely possibiliy is nuclear war over control of the remaining supplies.

A total crash is impossible, but if it does happen, the best thing to do with your money is buy guns and ammo. It is possible that a region including several countries will collapse, so diversify your investments across the globe. For example, invest 20% in emerging markets in South America, 20% in China/India, 20% in Europe/Russia, and 40% in North America. Also keep your investments diversified in terms of industry.

ok I get newsletters from this word famous "futurist" and this is what he is saying:
In the early 80s I stated that World War III would be a Holy War and begin in the Middle East. Recently I updated this insight stating that the war would begin in stages, unlike for example, the bombing of Pearl Harbor that put the U.S. in the war. The recent Lebanon/Israeli conflict is one more of these stages that will eventually engulf the entire Middle East. The next conflict will be with Syria and then Iran. The time table of events has been running since 1948 and will continue for many more years. The main driving force is not oil rather it can be traced back to the creation of the state of Israel in ’48. As a result karma of a nation was created as the Palestine people became displaced and continue to be so. Since oil represents power and a way to exercise that power, oil is a part of the driving force but not the main one.

aside from the collapse of the roman empire that led to the dark ages, nothing happens quite as dramatically as you might think.

even during the great depression, commerce was still going and not a total collapse.

with the developing countries taking a much bigger role in world economics and the growing demographics of those nations, i dont need a total collapse.

what you will perhaps see is a slow but steady transfer of economic power from the west to the east.

I think the time is very near indeed. The Illuminati seek to destroy the present economic system so they can establish their new world order cashless society, in which everyone will be implanted with a micro-chip containing all personal information.
