Do you think that Atari and Nintendo consoles and games will go up in value as they bocome "classics"??

I don't think you'll be able to find a TV set that they'll work on. Everything is going digital, with no analog hookups for the old, old game consoles. Adapter kits are getting harder to find too.

I do think they would go up in value though, look through ebay and see what they are currently going for.

I doubt it. How many of your friends have Commodore 64's stashed away?

ataris are well over 25 years old but you can still find them in garage sales on occasion, and they have re-released them with built in games. I would say no. You can download their programs and play the games on your computer.

Yes, they already have become a novelty since they're harder to come by. Some consoles aren't worth a dime, but those are worth lots of dimes. I'd buy an Atari and we still play our Nintendo.

No, because the newer consoles are more fun to play. (Wii!!!!) They will become "antiques." Although I own a PS1 and still play it.

Of course. I mean they better I have been holding on too. An Atari, Nintendo, and a Super Nintendo. They better go up in value. I mean they are the classics!!!

sure why not

No...to many people have these consoles tucked in their closets, garage, or using the NES to prop up the flat screen monitor to a decent eye level (ie me). Although they are "classics", don't go to the antique roadshow and have it appraised.

Besides, they aren't investments, there just things that go down in value...like cars.

David T
Only if they are in mint condition and working order and the games are still playable.

But I haven't seen an Atari in that condition nor the original Nintendo.
