Someone I know owes me 200$, but since the stock market fall, he has lost several thousand dollars, so I doubt I will ever get paid.
When the stock market tech stocks crashed a few years ago, the insurance industry lost a lot of money and your insurance costs went up (and still haven't come down). |

No, not at all. my current balance in my 401k and IRA's may take a hit but since I'm only buying and not selling it doesn't matter. I have a 30 year + time horizon so a drop in price means I get to buy stocks on sale! |

The stock market is down right now. World markets are down in general. I suggest that you follow the market and the sectors more closely, day by day. One good resource is http://www.federalreserve.ws which contains a lot of information about markets, economics, and finance. |

Nope. Ive got £1000's in the bank and I'm just waiting for all these property genius's to fall flat on their face.
I'm sick of people who lived in council houses who bought them for about £10,000 and have sold them for £100,000 and think they are shrewd investors. They would have been, had they not bought and equally over priced house. |
