I am looking to start a Mobile Document Shredding Company. My investment will be about $300,000. This is to supply secure document Shredding to Big companies.

The good news for you is the shredding industry is growing by about 10% a year. But some things to consider:
Your estimate of startup costs is a bit low. Don't forget to add in the cost of the bins ($125 each).
One person cannot do the driving, accounting and sales. When that happens the sales are ignored and the company fails.
Check who your competition is. Most large cities have 6-12 companies already in business so don't think you will be alone.
Make sure you do a full business plan but there is always room for a good operator. |

Yes, with identity fraud being rampant this is a no brain-er. I shred all documents I don't' need, all envelopes addressed to me, and all forms sent to me to apply for anything. |

Not a good idea. Big companies can buy a $500 shredder that turns everything into sawdust. Why would they hire an outside contracter? |
