bktteo | Everyone is losing money, who is making money? |
What goes up must come down, so someone lost is someone gain |

Much of the money lost never existed in the first place, it was just theoretical numbers on a computer system, so it is not necessarily being gained.
However, the current financial crisis was engineered by high level investors. |

That doesn't make sense. If you are saying that EVERYONE is losing money, then no one is making money. However the statement "everyone is losing money" is not valid. |

What is money anyways?
Most of it has nothing "backing" it. If everyone decides the US dollar is trash, and nobody accepts it, not even the hot dog vendor...well you've just lost all your cash right?
Value can evaporate.
Most of our "money" is not liquid, that is, it does not actually exist. We assume there is some worth to it, and because most people assume there is worth, you can liquidate it when you need to. But when everyone decides there is less value in the world, value goes down.
Its a strange, strange world out there. |

You are wrong. Not everyone is loosing money. You only incur a loss when you sell out at a price that is lower then when you started. Those that have sold out recently are taking the loss, and yes that may seem like everyone, but it is not.
There are also people that are buying funds and ETFs designed to short the market. That means when the markets go down, their investments go up. I have been making about 3% a day going short and long on the market as it moves up and down each day. Investors in treasuries, money markets, and CDs are not loosing money either.
Someone who sells out takes the loss. Now the only way you can sell is if there is a buyer on the otherside of the table. So yeah someones loss is someones gain, and I would say it is the buyer that knows things will eventually come around for the better. A realator will tell you to "Buy low, sell high" is this not the time to buy low? Your house price may have depreciated over the last couple of years, but that is not a loss until you sell it for a price lower than you paid for. Same in all of the markets.
There is money to be made out there for all of us. You just have to be smart and understand what is going on. You say what goes up must come down, but what goes down will go up. Simple economics will tell you that we are not going to zero here. |

I am. I have proper hedges in place, as opposed to most amateurs who follow the brokerage industry's "buy and hope" method. |

I can teach you how to invest your money and get 12% daily, no really. So this is what I will tell you to do, invest in a company called Megalido. They pay 12% daily on your invest for 12 days, after 12 days you entire investment is paid back to you and you can re-invest again. This is really simple and I am a living testimony that this program works and I have quit my job after a little while in the program. You can invest anywhere from $6 to $6000, you do the maths my friend. Click on this link and see more for yourself http://tinyurl.com/6gq9qg
PS: I can introduce you to 20 people that use this program and we have all been paid over and over again and we all have proof of payment. So if you have any more questions, get with me on Skype, my Skype ID is blueville69.
Good luck. |

Don't believe everything you read (and hear) about everyone losing money.
If you know how to 'play' the stock markets there is loads of money to be made right now, especially in the US stock markets.
I did some courses on share trading about a year ago, I've tweaked what I learnt a little and now it's one of my main forms of income.
So yes you're correct - someone's loss is someone else's gain. |

You don't lose money until you actually sell your assets. The only ones making money are the brokers. |

WHAT I'M GOING TO TELL YOU RIGHT IS SO OBVIUOS AND YET NO ONE HAS MENTIONED IT. SHORT SELLERS. THEIR RAKING IN SO MUCH OFF THESE BROKERS THEIR PRACTICALLY STEALING MONEY. RIGHT NOW SHORT SELLERS ARE IN THEIR GLORY. IF YOU DONT COMPREHEND THE OBJECTIVE AND METHOD OF A SHORT SELLER REFER TO WIKIPEDIA. YOU PRETTY MUCH BORROWING SHARES FROM A BROKERAGE SELLING THEM AT MARKET VALUE AND THEN BUYING THEM BACK AT A LOWER PRICE AND PAY BACK THE BROKERAGE FOR THE SHARES YOU BORROWED. YOU ALSO PAY INTEREST. BUT WHO CARES WHEN YOU CAN MAKE MILLIONS IN ONE DAY. |
