hello
Yesterday i decided to buy 3 stocks.
ambac financial group (ABK) 2000 shares for $1.26 each
American insurance group (AIG) 3000 shares for $1.76 each
Freedic mac (FRE) 1500 chares for $0,9010 each.
The reason wh I bout this stock is because for eaxmple : the highest prince of AIG in the last 52 weeks was $ 62.3 for FRE was $37.3 and for ABK was $30.3. So there is a big chance that they will go up very high.
I will keep this stock for at least 18 month, hopefully the recesion will past and the price will start to go up.
if prices of the stock go up like half the value i just mention ($62,3 for AIG), i will make a fortune.
What do you think ?? should I keep them or sell them. |

Its highly unlikely that stock price will go up in that amount within 18 months.
Just think about Japan 29 dec 1989. Japan had to wait for 10 years to recover. I don't think this global crisis end within next 3years.
Its better to engage buy and sell rather than hold your stock for 18 months. |

Some stocks have traded at $60/sh then drop to $40 then down to $20 then $10, next down to $5 then drop further to under $1 all the way down the bankruptcy.
Your rational that a stock ONCE traded at $60 and is now around $1 and could hit $60 again seems a bit off. The stock price just as easily could hit $0.25 as it could hit $25.
Good Luck this may be an expensive lesson for you. |

I would hold on to them hoping the bailout money will drive up the price. However the stock could go down if they file for bankruptcy. |

Keep them but I just prefer to keep things, and I don't think the recession is going to pass in 18 months. |

Get out of them immediately. Try following stocks like WDC. Look at the patterns in the most recent charts. It dips around lunchtime, then comes back up. It just hit it's 52 week low this week. Western Digital is the company. I daytrade them every week and have made some decent $. This is a good stock pick for the long haul as well. This company is not going anywhere and offers only the BEST hard drives in computers these days. BUY BUY BUY!! Stay away from any financial company stocks until this economic plague passes over. |
