You would be buying at the top. There is no,scarcity of Gold. You are better off buying quality stocks that have been beaten up. |

Take all of the emotion out of the equation and look at the history of the subject. Commodity prices are in sky rocket mode. Many third world countries are industrializing. There is a deficit in all commodities as old production channels are over run by demand. Now, what currency has held most of it's value over hundreds of years? That would be gold. Gold is recognized world wide as a store house of value. If you are looking to trade in and out of something, gold probably not it. But if you are looking for a long term method to hold the value of your money, gold is the only way to go. |

I think gold is a definite buy... I've been hearing analysts saying it should hit $1000 by the end of 2008. You can't go wrong with gold. |

I think gold will top out at around 1000.00. Unless you can afford to spend 800.00 + an ounce and buy alot of it I don't think it would be worth it. |

the price og gold goes up whenever there's a political crisis rising to the threat of war.
the US is preparing for waging war on Iran and Syria.
in case of war , people can carry gold but cannot carry other valuables .
also the price of oil is rising bec of the threat against Iran.
if the US wages war on Iran, thhe oil in the Middle East is threatened , and the US has to have a big reserve in case the oil fields burn in the war.
so, which do you prefer ? buy gold or buy oil ? |

Everyone wants to know that answer. Did you know that the price of gold is fixed every day by a bunch of guys sitting around a table in London? That can be scary to those believing in a free market. Anyway..it hid $850 in 79-89 dollars. $850 then would equal would be around double now. So, it could go 1500. I'm wondering now whether to get a Hyundai or 10 OZ myself. Only sure thing....dollar is being trashed! |

buy that dddaaaawwwwgggg. Don't get greedy with those price targets bro, keep it at 1000 by 2008 and you'll still make 20% Might be tough, our firm believes the dollar will be strengthening, therefore prevent that dollar hedge with gold. |
