Good idea to come back to the US?
So, I'm in Europe struggling to make ends meet. I want to go back to the States but am worried how the US dollar dropping in value will affect the job market. Any keen insight? Additional Details I'm American, by the way.
Stay in Europe. There's too many people here already.

Looking at Your statements you have already answered your question. Your struggling already where you are. You want to come back to the U.S. Means you have been here before. In the US there is jobs. More people are trying to get into this country than there is trying to get out.You can find work. Maybe you will still struggle for awhile, but you will be where you want to be, and later you may get that great job you seek.

Depends on what your line of work is ...do you already have a secure job here? IF so, then you might want to consider the move...else, you may find it just as hard as in Europe...if not harder...some poeple in the states work 50-60hours a week and they do not get paid vacations....
you also have to consider health insurance etc...make a pros and cons list....and vist the US before making a decision....interview some of you friends here...find out if its really for you.

The job market for your profession is not typically affected by the U.S. economy.
Unless there is another great depression, when 9 year olds have to start waiting in the bread line, you should have young minds to mold and warp to your left wing agenda.;-)> (thats a joke about teachers who live abroad).
Seriously, you will have no problem finding a job. It's just a bit harder to buy and sell homes now. Your a teacher so you can't afford one anyhow. (could'nt resist).

Come on over! If the mexicans can find work and live in expensive townhouses, I'm sure you can too.

You're really lucky to be in Europe at the moment.
There's really no end in sight for the financial problems here.
