The president is the leader of the country and do you actually think we will allow the country to get worse regardless of the candidate. And what's this about ties... did you do your research on ties with McCain, the Obama has been pretty good at keeping it clean. McCain has ties to bank failures and actually the "Keating five" is his biggest connection to the regulation of banks years ago. Joe the plumber is the son-in-law to Mr. Keating, so you tell me if this publicity stunt worked or not. McCain is an honorable veteran and did some good things for the country, but just doesn't know how to run a campaign for this new generation. If its conservatives vs. liberals, the 80's has produced alot of liberals that will show up to the polls as well as blacks to support the first black presidential nominee. Where are the issues to help solve our problems, Obama is the only one that has given us real in-depth answers. I voted Halloween, go Obama and the rest of the democrats. Next time, Republicans will think about serving "the people" rather than old traditional cartels that are in the white house. My condolescences to Obama's grandmother that passed away. |

We have had eight years of Republicans in the White House and look where we are now.
Notice that wall street has already spoken. About a week ago, when it became obvious that McCain had no chance, the Dow started to rise and is still going up today. |

The President's inherited family money was from Prescott Bush, a founding partner of the wall street investment banking firm of Brown Brothers Harriman & Company. (Actually, Prescott was not much of a success as a businessman on his own. He was given the job by his rich father-in-law.) The Texas oil company was just a hobby for his spoiled rich son George H W and grandson George W. The Secretary of the Treasury is the former head of the wall street investment banking firm of Goldman Sachs. The person hired to head the agency disbursing the $750 billion is also a Goldman Sachs veteran.
A large part of the Bush family fortune came from Prescott acting as a front for the financing of the Nazi build-up prior to World War II. Some of his assets were even siezed under the Trading with the Enemy Act because he kept up acting as a respectable front for German industrial dealings even after the war began.
