HOW DID companies like Starbucks Wal-Mart Apple etc. GET SO BIG?
I think I have the solution, find a way to sell things people perceive are good and then duplicate duplicate duplicate. It's usually the small stuff that counts. Many people say it's low price and variety but you can't just say that look at AMBOCROMBIE AND FITCH they don't have that much variety compared to say Wal-Mart but they are still a MULLTI-BILLION dollar company in worth. Why? Becasue people perceive their stuff as a good deal, whether it be styles quality etc. It may or may not be true, and that's not my place to say. What I am saying is it's usually the LITTLE THINGS THAT COUNT IN CHANGING PEOPLE'S PERCEPTION. For instance one of the things that made Wal-Mart take off before they were cheap was the WELCOME TO WAL-MART everytime you got a cart. Happy meals at Mcdonalds, and cold COFFEE and Starbucks simple things that CHANGE Are perception SOOO MUCH. So is that the secret then? OPINIONS please.

your right. its all just about making people think that you're offering that extra lil cherry on top, for the same price or cheaper than the other guy. its like you go to two identical gas stations, but one of them has a fun cashier that gave you a hig five and joked with you. if you get better customer service for free, than why go anywhere else? but now most walmarts ditched the greeter, and all punks that work at mcdonalds have a pissed off praying mantis up their ***. so pretty much.

suck up to your customers that you depend on
until they Depend On You, then you can treat them like ****
while you grow into monster coorporation

IMO your wrong about the A&F thing. Its not because people think its a good deal for whatever reason, quality. What makes a company like that sucsessful is to show cool people wearing it, jack up the price and then it goes nuts cause everyone wants to have it, but not many can cause of the price. So its considers "cool" to wear that clothing.

You need to use some common sense and take some risk.

The company I try to bring you attention is Spicy Pickel(SPKL). The management is solid and its concept is working, they compete with Subway and Quizno, but I like it better. If it passes $5 and you will see another SBUX. --Healthy FOOD

P.S. Do your DD

Because of how the public accepts the product offered, and their growth ratio.

Sammy is right. You forgot McDonald's, their target customer is children and lazy moms. There will never be a shortage of them. McDonald's wouldn't have mad it this far if it wasn't 'for the kids' (Liberal fall back to get your interest). What do we have to thank McDonald's for? An over weight society. Thanks McDonald's!

Wall Mart sells junk to trailer trash, Starbucks sells junk to liberals.
