I am an eBay PowerSeller, and in my experience, PayPal has been very reliable. However, it is not as safe as a credit card when you are buying something. Credit cards are subject to banking laws and have to send you a refund if you don't get what you paid for. PayPal has its own rules, and you may or may not get a full refund if the seller cheats you. I have been cheated three times when making PayPal payments. Once I got a $15 refund for a $40 purchase. The other two times I got nothing.
For more information, see www.paypalsucks.com. Keep in mind that these stories have not been verified, and they are a very small percentage of PayPal users. Still, it is something to consider. |

I'd recommend Paypal for the safety and convenience feature but am not fond of its high fee structure. Still one of the best on-line payment system though! |

pay pal is fab its totally safe and if the person your buying from messes you about they give you at least some of your money back. its just as safe as paying for something with a credit card. |
