Blackjack. If you dont have any skill at blackjack, you could always go for the old exchange rate trick... exchange it with cnadian money or euros when the rate is low, then again when the rate is high.

If you need it back within 1 month, don't bother investing in stocks or bonds - too likely value of your investment will go down and plus commissions could help ensure you lose rather than gain.

For such a short time period, just put it in a savings or money market account - ensures you will get back entire amount plus a little interest.

Buy a used car at an auction, clean it up and sale it at a profit.
Better reseach the car price and resale value first.
