I think you are talking about Indian corporations:
If so, they are RNRL, RPL because there is always huge volume, both companies are Reliance Group so no liquidity problem. NTPC, PETRONET LNG, both are in energy sector, Sanwaria Agro (129/135) , Ashco (20) these shares are not large cap and therefore chances of losses are less. Fore price trend refer to www.moneypore.com
If you want to invest for long term Sesa Goa, L&T (large cap), ITC, GNFC are best.
But you must wait and watch, study the price trend and purchase only when market will correct. |

Go with McDonalds especially with the uncertain economy. They are the best long term company out there. I'd settle for continous, small growth rate than anything high risk right now. |

Avoid buying stocks on tips, and avoid buying
stocks that have recently appreciated a lot.
Stocks that have a price/earnings ratio well above 16 are hot stocks, in demand, and stocks in that category may be worth the price.
Stocks that have a price/earnings ratio between 8 and 16 are somewhat out of favor, They are still earning well for the price.
When price/earnings drops below 8, it is a signal that it is severely out of favor. You need to understand that this company may not maintain its earnings, but if the earnings prospects are fairly good, the stock has a lot of recovery potential. (A stock may have been sold too heavily and its price does not reflect its earnings potential).
Take care to look at debt/equity ratios, and look at the yield on its bonds, if any. A company that has a high yield is in difficulty.
If you are planning to invest hundreds of thousands in a company's stock, do not be content with this, get a credit check, look at the stock quote news items.(As for instance on globeinvestor.com |

If your asking this question chances are your not sure what type of investor you are. Are you conservative, risk taker?....I suggest pulling back the reigns on investing until you do. There are plenty of books designed for this purpose. After you have decided what type of investor you want to be, talk to a professional trader first before doing it all on your own. Tradeking.com and Etrade are easy trading sites to use but you won't get any investing advice. Just because you can do it with these easy sites doesn't mean your going to make money just as easy.
RECAP...Take your time, find out what type of investor you are, talk to a pro first. |
