I answered a question in these columns where somebody wanted his money to double in a few months. You seem to have a lot more patience and seem to understand the subject. If two years is your horizon, then IFCI (currently at 56 recent peak 63) with a year-end target of l00 (if it reverts to dividend list, which seems imminent) and among small priced Harig Crank around Rs.2 (face value l/-).

It is next to impossible to predict.It is your money , if price falls,u loose,if script price increases u gain.
I advice to read all blogs,messages,comments in different scripts at http://www.moneycontrol.com,http://icicidirect.com & also to see the discussions & commentary at Zee Business ,Profit(NDTV) ,CNBC(TV18) .
U can decide yourself & decide.In present scenario Reliane Petro undoubtedly best investment for 2 years.But always invest in 5/6 scripts so that if one falls other will take care.Other good stocks are:Infosys,ABB,Simens,L&T,Madras cement,BHEL,Tata Motor etc.
But decision must be yours,before investment.If u r a new investor,watch which stock is declaring Bonus & if it is a worthwhile stock,purchase it at a lower price on date of posting of stock.But don't use this theory if the company has all ready declared Bonus continuously for 3 years. |
