Putting can goods on shelves,or some kind of items.

arijit_arijit
It's a retail terminology to indicate how well a retailer can present the stock of the retail store to the customer.

sandeep k
its a strategic marketing by which a retailer tries inducing the customer with on the shelf display option that engulfs all the parameters to push a customer for the positive purchasing behavior .

Crypt
Presuming you're talking about retail, it's arranging the inventory in a pleasing/organized fashion. It can be putting together a window display, a 4-way gondola display, or as simple as just facing certain products on the shelves.

John
To set up a display in a store or even a garage sale that is appealing for the general public to look at, and become enticed to make a purchase.

protoham
Representing a company like Purina or some seed companies seeing that the store shelves in your territory are stocked. Target and KMart uses a lot of merchandising vendors
