Why is it important to know if your assets are liquid?

2. The quality of being readily convertible into cash: an investment with high liquidity.
3. Available cash or the capacity to obtain it on demand: a bank that is increasing its liquidity by shortening the average term of its loans.
4.This sales term refers to the volume of transactions. With sufficient buyers and sellers, a market enjoys continuous offers, bidding, and consummated transactions, thus achieving market liquidity.

Reason that it would probably be important to know if your assets are liquid might be sale value.
