either bank or online both don't effect much. as long as you complete your study on which stock to buy and sell, you'll be on the way to profitable stock investment experiences.

If you like to do your research and homework, You can use an online broker. if you don't what to do any work, then don't invest in the stock market unless your willing to work. Try some mutual funds or find a good stock broker.

Good Luck!

Get some experience before you invest in individual stocks. Check out exchange traded funds -- index funds you can buy. The broad-based ETFs, like the S&P500 (ticker symbol IVV) or the foreign stock
EAFE (ticker EFA) or Vanguard All-world ex-US (ticker VEU) and foreign emerging stocks (ticker EEM) can be purchased through a discount broker. Buy a few shares of a domestic and foreign ETF and see what you do -- if you start following them, reading about what influences them, generally getting interested now that your money is on the line, then go to step two.

Join a nonprofit investment organization like the AAII, American Association of Individual Investors, which has great unbiased information (and also has a great track record). AAII provides stock screens and will give you an idea of what to look for when investing in an individual stock. If you find yourself hooked, then (step three) consider checking out a charting service, like stockcharts.com, which has a free area. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Citigroup and most large banks.

I suggest you Zecco.
