You can try taking your product to consignment shops. I've sold many things that way, and have people come up to me quite often now to request more of my product. Word of mouth is a very good marketing tool. |

It depends on what type of business you're interested in starting.
Many service oriented businesses need nothing but your time and talent. Examples would include dog walking, pet sitting, errand running, courier, maid/housecleaning, website design, personal assistant, aquarium maintenance... etc.
Art oriented businesses, such as photography and graphical website design, need talent... and probably an online auction account and basic website design skills in which to promote yourself.
If you truely want to sell products which you do NOT make at home, then you should pay the extra money and go thru the extra hassle to get a retail liscence so that you can get the real wholesale prices on goods. Starting up such a business can be expensive, though. There's alot of online companies offering the "Ebay Dream"- but remember, you're getting an above wholesale cost and probably reselling their stuff into a glutted market (others are doing it too). |

veeerwy carefullwy... (as Elmer Fudd says).
If you're going to start a new business with no money or any investment capabilities, you have to do a ton of research on the subject and spend a few years mapping out your plan of attack. (Or conquest.)
Make sure that you leave enough room to make periodic adjustments, because (like me), you're going to be micro-managing things for awhile, until you see some returns. |

if you are interested in working for yourself but need some support to get started, i'd suggest the insurance and or investment business. companies like prudential financial, metlife, etc all sponsor new agents and provide resources and training. most even will pay a salary to start. after you get your legs under you, you can leave them and become an independent. good luck |

You would have to trust somebody in order to sell them part of your product or service.
By giving up something...you are gaining something.
It is tricky, but it can be done.
I am studying Entrepreneurship right now.
e mail me if I can help
