How can I turn my idea into a business?

I have this great idea and i think it will be a success but i have no clue on how to get started

Two most important points - Research and Planning

Everything in life starts with a plan - but first comes RESEARCH.
Internet is a perfect place to do this. In case it's a small, local project, you go out into the market to research.

Do you know if all the others think this is a good idea ? You have to get SOME indications first, before you start with anything else. Imagine you produce some that nobody want's. The Best Idea is worth nothing in this case.

Write down your idea, then ask yourself what would be the perfect way to offer it (like you already have everything ready like production, logistic, sales store, brand name - simply all)

Write down all those details. ALWAYS write down all regarding to the idea. Only in that way you can keep track, change and adjust each detail on your way to the final.

Then go and do make more research. Now about your competitors, or who are selling something similar to the same group of people who would buy YOUR product.
Check out what they offer, how, quality, price, Online or Offline delivery etc. all info you can get is important. Try to find out their supplyers, perhaps they can be yours as well.

Then you have to make a new plan, based on all the above sources. This plan has to show you the WAY to your GOAL. How you reach your goal, and what goal in short term, medium term and long term.
Each step has to have a logical explanation or solution to a problem you face on the way to this goal. Again, note the problem and the respective solution.

Bottom line is. Over a plan, or planning, you can ripp appart the whole idea and split it into categories. Each category is a seperate problem to be resolved, but all have the same Goal at the end. If you keep them separated you can tweak and adjust each and everyone seperately, what's extremely necessary if you have to resolve a short term problem if your project is life and working. Example: raw material price hike, a supplyer fail to deliver, your production is on it's limits etc. etc.

This little info can be used for any kind of idea, regardless how small it is. The only difference is that the size of the plan increases with the size of the project.

The first step is to research the market and see if anyone else is doing what you want to do. Then you need to test the market to see if your idea is viable. Once you find out no one else is doing it, and people want it, you need to decide who your demographic is. Who will buy this, and why. If you have your own money, great, if not, take your research info and head for the investors.

Here's a thought mention what your idea is so that I can actually answer this accuratly it's not that easy when all u say is u have some 'great idea' different things take different approaches...but I guess if u really want advice from that small bit of info then i'd say, get a partner to work with you and help you, launch your businuss, and advertise. sorry I couldn't be more help!!

Go to google and type in keywords that have to do with your idea. The point is to look for others that may have done your idea already. Even if it's not exactly the same. Something similar would be good enough, you would just make it better.

Write down your Ideas onto Paper try to make a plan of action.PRESENTATION is important, advertising, how you will involve others is another must.Have you any Capitol to invest ? How much will you need ? Can this work be done from your own home ? Is it something you have designed. You need to, to find like minded people to help.
