Why not try stock options? There a huge gamble, but you can get insane returns. For instance, let's say you think that the Home Depots Stock is going to crash in about two months. The current HD price is $40, and you think it'll drop to $30 in May.

You go to your friendly online broker, and purchase a some put options. Lets say a May 35 put which can be bought for 1.50. You have bought the right to make someone purchase HD shares from you for $35 in May. If the best happens and the stock price does drop to $30, you can make a 3.50 profit per option you bought. If the price stays above $35, you've lost the 1.50 you spent on each option but you won't lose anymore than that.

Here's the math. You buy $500 worth of the $35 May put option at 1.50 each. That means you have 333 put options. May rolls around and the stock price is $30. The put option means that whoever sold the option in the first place is obligated to buy 333 stocks at 35$ from you if you choose. You make them do it, and purchase the actual stocks to sell to them for $30 each. You make a $5 profit per share, for a total profit of $3.5 per option. In all you've made 3.5 * 333 = $1165 in two months off a $500 investment or a gain of 233% in two months.

Of Course the stock could easily stay around $40 in price for the next two months in which case you just lost $500.

It's a great gamble in that you can decide exactly how much your willing to lose, then start looking around for companys you think are going to take a noisedive in a couple of months.

Of course the reason that normal people create and sell put options is because they don't think it's gonna happen but hey, its a good way to make quick money if you make the right choice.
