1. We'll if you live in the USA, you will pay taxes on your income.

2. Put away $2000 (or max) a year in a Roth IRA, invest in the S&P 500 index.

3. In about 20-30 years you should be close to that target. The money is tax free at 59 1/2.

Note: Here is the investment mistake
Ben and Arthur make:

1. Ben stop too early.
2. Aurthur doesn't invest enough.

I saw this chart before there was the Internet when I was will a top Wall Street firm. As you age, you have to increase your annual investment to to hit the target you want, or take greater risks.

we studied this in government.
if you invest money into your savings account regularly, within years the interest adds up and you'll be a millionare by your retirement.
but thats all i've got for ya

Well when it comes to investing. For example:
If a 25 year old invests $100/month until 65 into a Roth IRA invested in mutual funds @ 12% ROR it will grow to $989,000. For every 6 years you wait to invest, you will have to double the monthly investment to get $989,000.

Part 1: No such thing as dollors

Part 2: You get it in a locale that does not impose taxes -- somewhere outside the reach of the US or state government.

Part 3: Be careful not to violate the law. Retain counsel if necessary.
