I do not want to sound trite but the most difficult part of any business is getting started.
Research your market, draw up a business plan cost out what is absolutely essential to get you started.
Get advice and be prepared to work consistently hard for a while before you see results. Along the way be continually looking at what is working well and what isn`t. Be prepared to be flexible and respond to how things are developing.
Not saying what sort of business you are planning to start -it is difficult to say but being good to customers, being reliable and developing a sound reputation will pay dividends.

It actually depends on how lil' is your lil' money.
BUt here's some suggestion
1. Invest the money (mutual fund, stock etc)
2. Loan it out and gain interest. There are a few online loan market place where you can find prospective borrower such as http://www.prosper.com/
3. If you are willing to work a bit, you can start trading forex with as little as USD100
4. Buy stuff cheaply and sell it on ebay
The list can go on. There are tons of things you can do to make your money grow, especially on the net. The trick is to not to fall for scams like HYIP investments. |

I think the best way to get started in your case would be affiliate marketing. It does nor require any start up fees at all. People go from flat broke to $20 000/month with affiliate programs such as Amazon.com, CJ.com (eBay affiliate), Clickbank.com
You could use free blogs to promote the products, use free methods to drive traffic to them then get paid a commission per each sale!
