Open a brokerage account at Scottrade with just $500 today and start saving half of your paycheck (This is not as easy as it seems) until you have enough for a down payment for your house.

If you don't have a college degree. Now would be a good time to go back to school.

Hi well, a good place to start if you dont the money now, you can save on the long run, you can try the mutual funds, such fidelity and vanguard. You can log on line and find out about them and do the paper work on line, They are pretty reliable. I have no problems with them at all, you can call them on the phone too. I started late too and it has being rellay good. You can do direct deposit from you bank like a draw every month so much, so you dont feel it.

Start now. DO NOT waste your money on any lottery or gambling in any form. Saving and investing do indeed build wealth. Save everything you can That does not mean just leaving your savings in a bank earning less than the rate of inflation, it means avoiding the pitfalls of paying interest on loans and credit cards for things you could have done without.

Use a retirement calculator to see how dramatic saving and investing is in the long run. You have time. Go for it.

You don't have to be rich to be wealthy. To become rich, I would start saving, and maybe start looking at investing some of it.
