What if he has 1 million dollars, but is in debt 10 million? In my opnion 1 million really isn't a lot of money, I say that if you have at least five million with no debt, you are wealthy. |

I'll agree with you -1million dollars in the US. Or l million euro in Europe.
It depends at what country or currency you are talking about.
In Indonesia however, 1 million rupiah is about 180 dollars. |

1 million what? Peso? Dollars? Pounds? Vietnamese Dong?
Ask a child living in the slums of Rio how much would they consider to be wealthy and then ask someone who has to work 6 days just to pay their mortgages on the 3 houses they own as well as send their kids to private school, and you get very different answers.
More context is needed and even then it's subjective. |

Wealth can only be considered by association.
For example. If you live in a poor area, and you have the highest income and most assets, then your neighbors would consider you wealthy.
However, drive to an area where the locals are far wealthier than you, then you might be considered poor.
Look at it this way. If you only had £37.50 would you consider yourself wealthy? Well, if you were in Zimbabwe you'd be a millionaire! |
