How old were you when you first started investing and how old are you now?
I'm curious as to what age most people start investing at and how old they currently are now. So how old were you when you first started investing and how old are you now?

If your asking to gain advice, start as early as you can. I`m 50, and I started investing in shares twelve years ago - wish I had started earlier.

In the time I`ve just been putting my spare money aside, I`ve accumulated the equivalent of 5x my annual wages, with dividends and gains, it would be more like 20x if I`d started 10 years earlier.

I'm not sure that you would consider this "real" investing but....

When I was in elementary school they had "bank day" once a week. The teachers had passbooks for each of us and we brought in a quarter each week to be deposited in our little accounts. I know that I had that account for at least 5 school years.

I started investing after I graduated college and got a job.
(I was 23) I'm almost 26 now and I have about $2,000 saved up.

I picked a portion of my pacheck that I would save (for me, it was 7% each pay period.)
