king | How to trade stocks at home? |
whats the procedure and can you do it at home with a home pc? |

Yes if you have used online banking before you will easily understand online trading.
With that being said though trading "individual" stocks is not an easy game to master. Make sure you understand what you are doing before using any of your money to trade stocks.
You may want to start at vanguard.com with a simple index fund or mutual funds until you learn more about how the stock markets work.
How to trade stocks from home:
Step 1: You have to open a brokerage account.
Step 2: Research stocks you want to buy.
Step 3: When you find a good stock you buy it simply by entering the amount of shares you wish to purchase.
Step 4: Your broker will confirm your purchase order and then you accept it and you now own that many shares of the stock.
(Tip- Make sure you learn about how to use stop orders and trailing stops.)
Step 5: You sell the stock whenever you feel you need to either for a loss or a gain.
That is the basic scenario, there are many more complex ways to trade stocks but for a beginner this is what you do. |

Yes you can trade stocks at home on your PC. I do it every day it's as easy as deciding what you want and clicking a couple of buttons. The commissions are far cheaper than any you could possibly get anywhere else so more money in your pocket if you win. First you need to choose an online broker (goggle "online brokers") and then fund the account. Usually they will have a paper trading account so that you can learn how to use their platform without risking any money. Before you start trading take a course! Never trade with money you can't afford to lose and learn to cut your dogs while letting the profits run. A good place to start is trading ETF's as they are less volitile than single stocks. Anyhow hope this helps you get started. |

Just go to E-trade...fill out an application...send a check ..and in a couple of days you got an ID...a PIN...and an account you can trade in.
Got any idea what that means? How to go about it?
A fantastic site to practice at is http://www.top10traders.com/
...besides making up your own portfolio and trading in it, you can see about 2100 other portfolios and figure out " who knows what they're doing...and maybe I can get an idea or two here...for my real cash !!". |
