At 13, typically the younger you are the more aggressive stocks are ones that you'd want to look at but there's no one stock that will cater to a 13 year old. the most important thing that you can do for yourself so that you don't end up sorry in the long run is to do your research about stocks and learn as much as you can about them as you've seen lately if you've been watching the news the stock market is pretty unstable right now and people are losing money left and right but if you watn something that's safer as someone at the bank about mutual funds.. those tend to perform even in the worst of times. |

Its always good to start young and plan early for financial freedom. I started investing only when I am 25, but have been saving and buying insurance since young.
Since you are 13, you should take a long term view of your investment portfolio, and go for high growth stocks that have potential to grow. Ask yourself this question: will this company you are eyeing now still be around in 20 years' time? Will this company grow and expand in operations by then? Will this be a product/service that will still be in hot demand then?
After you settled for the companies you want to invest in, ask yourself what is the appropriate investment instrument. I will still go for stocks, despite the raging markets now. |

Here is a very little known stock called Global Platinum + Gold Inc with Stock Symbol of GPGI closed August 17, 2007 at the price of US$0.09. Mine went into full production just a few weeks ago. The ore sands assays average over 5 ounces of platinum to the ton with 200 million tons available for processing, which does not include the gold of around 2 ounces to the ton if my memory serves me, as the assays are no longer showed on their website. |
