If you can't lose money.. starting a business is not for you. The rule of thumb is lose money the first year, brake even the second year and make money the third year. So it is possible to make good money the first year... it is also possible to never make any money. Try it and I wish you luck with your business idea. |

Everything in the economic world is a risk and you just have to weigh up the risks. Sometimes you can just get a gut feeling that there is a hole in the market and you can fill it. If you are sure, go for it. As has been said earlier, it may take time for it to work and you may need to have another job on the side to live. It will also definately be hard work and stressful at times.
If it doesn't work (and this is possible) then you shouldn't feel bad, you tried and that is further than many people will get. I've tried about 4 businesses, three have not been that good, and one made me a lot of money... that is the way life is... |

Before you invest any time or energy into it, you need to see if it is a good business idea. There are some collaboration sites out there that get you community feedback on the idea so you could see if it is helpful. I recommend you check out ideablob.com. You will likely get good advice, and if you promote your idea hard enough, you could win their monthly prize. |
