Hello,
I also had a similair problem as you have.
I had a good amount of money, and wanted it to grow.
So I looked around on the internet to find something that is:
1) giving me great returns towards a relatively small risk
2) Professional people who know what they where doing with my money.
I'm glad to say I finally found a moneymanager who is capable of giving me good returns and give me a great support.
On this blog you can follow up all the results that he is making:
http://my-robottrader.blogspot.com/
My money is working for me, in three months time I already have a ROI of 92%.
So you don't hear me complaining!
Annyway if you would like to get in touch with my moneymanager to have some more information feel free to contact me you can send an email to me at derrekmay at gmail.com.
Then I'll give you the email adress of my moneymanager
Hope this has helped you! |

Your best course of action, will depend on the amount of money involved and your circumstances, which you have not told us. So do not go by the advice of half informed amateurs here. Consult a good independent financial adviser paid by fee, not commission. It will be money well spent.
But unless you have over $10 million, do not fall into the trap of putting yourself into the hands of "wealth managers" who although good, they grossly overcharge. I have seen their fees and they are a legalized robbery. Good luck. |

Your first option, should be to open a retirement account. This is always a good investment, regardless
of who you are.
If you have fully funded your retirement account and would like other options, you should consider a DRIP Plan.
They are seldom recommended by brokers due to the low rate of commissions received. However, these
reinvestment plans can be very powerful long-term investments. Studies have shown that DRIP's are one of
the best strategies on Wall Street.
They are inexpensive and easy to start. New investors to the stock market should definitely consider a DRIP Plan.
Companies like Toyota, Royal Canadian Bank, Sony, Bank of America, General Electric and many other Blue Chip
Stocks can be purchased through your DRIP Plan, with as little as 1 share in most cases.
These long-term plans are great for beginners as well as veterans. Check them out.
Best of Luck |

why don't you search for a business that has good demand in your area.
you can start a business even if it has low profit margin at start.
if you have sufficient money and you think that you will not need of theses money for a long time like 5+ years, then i think you should purchase a land in your area. (that investment never give losss in return) or purchase share of a good organization, you will receive dividends and your principal amount will also be safe. |

ALWAYS follow BIG GUNS and be big. Follow Great Mr.Laxmi Mittal and Mr. Ratan Tata and invest some of your money in steel sector.I am very bullish on Steel Sector ,remaining all sectors look weak to me.Even, Mutual funds are subject to Market risks.
You have to be very carefull about your investments, even recession has started moving towards Asian countries. |

You should meet with a certified investment advisor from your bank or financial instution. They will be able to create an investment plan for you which will consist of bonds and stocks.
Depending on your situation and need for money, most of it will be placed in safe interest earning money market funds and bonds. Another part of it will go into mutual funds and equities for growth. |
