I am looking to make safe Investments open to all Ideas?

For safER investments, you will be looking at companies that pay a dividend - in regards to stocks. Johnson and Johnson is a prime example.

You can also buy government bonds which are nice because they are not taxed.

CDs are very safe but not very lucrative.

jimdotedu
Government bonds are considered safest. If you want a better return (and can handle a little more risk) Corporate bonds.

Hi Fiona,

you should take a look at www.ftsie.com if you want a safe investment I would highly reccomend them. They are infact a property stock market and property is known to be very safe. I recently invested in Bulg001 and made a quick 15% return. Take a look at their site and see what you think .

Good Luck =)

tax liens on RE are risk free.
paying from 0 % to 25% and
guarantee you an opportunity to
own the property if you are not
paid back. [without a mortgage on it]

feel free to MSN or Email me at nathanielandco@hotmail.co.uk I have a few ideas that i would be willing to share with you. (If i tell the world there goes the value of the advice).

Returns above the "risk free rate" on government bonds are a reward for taking risks, so low risk means high returns.

The UK issues index linked gilts, which are even safer because there is no risk of losing the money, and no risk of its value being wiped out by inflation.

For a reasonable balance, erring on the safe side, I would look at a bond fund.

Incidentally, the risks of investing in shares tend to become less the longer the term over which you are investing, so a carefully chosen portfolio of income shares would be pretty safe as a long term (e.g. for retirement) investment.

Bonds in USD from Mexico are safe and they will pay you more money than the United States of America.

I doubt if anything is 100% safe, but you could try joining various business angels groups.
