I am thinking of investing in stocks and had a question...?
When I invest online with a broker (i.e.: ScottTrade), at the end of the year will they have all of my "stats" such as gains/losses for tax purposes? If so, do they mail that out and what tax form corresponds to the information that I have to report at tax time?

Scott S
Yep, they'll send you a 1099-B so you can file a 1040-schedule D.

don't pay taxes to the Monopoly Federal State. It is an illigitamite institution, and has no Right to exist. Its mere existence violates personal liberty, and they claim to Own You, do you like that? you are a slave willingly if you pay them taxes. A slave.

I suggest you to try project payday, simply because you don't need any money up front and you can start making money within 15 minutes. I average around 3,500 dollars every month with it. Check it out at http://urlite.com/10343/

Ricky
Yes, that is the current legal procedure that they take, if not, you had best better set up another appintment with that broker.

i have no idea. But other stocks don't have to be like that. Not unless you make big money

wutsup
I wouldn't invest in any stocks with the economy the way it is.
