Manna | I don't know what to spend my money on!? |
I have about $650 right now. I don't know what to do with it. I have already donated a lot of it. This money is my own treat to myself, after a while of saving. Yep, I'm still a high schooler if you're wondering.
I'm into technology, video games, cars-----pratically guy stuff.
Please help. Stupid question, I know. But I don't want to waste my money. |

O.K. go www.schwab.com, open an account, find a good mutual found that accept initial $500 investment, buy the mutual fund WITH capital gain and dividend reinvest, leave it there until you are retired. When you see how much money you will have then, remember aroundtheworld told you this 45 yrs ago. Have a good life : ) use that money travel around the world like me : ) |

For some reason saving money (for me) is in itself an enjoyment. I *had* 1000 dollars and more coming in (also a high schooler), and i blew it down to 500. All those things that i thought would make me happier actually made me regret spending it. If you cant think of anything, then dont spend your money. |

If you put it in a mutual fund with a historical long-term return of around 12% on average, it would be worth just north of a million dollars by the time you retire. Or you could buy an iPhone that will be completely worthless & obselete by then! |

You can put the money in so called esavings where they pay you 5-5.25% APR , 8 times more than any average bank like Bank of America, Suntrust, etc. You can also withraw the money any time you need it. Check out ING.com or HSBCdirect.com or just go to www.bankrate.com I use it myself and it's great! |
