The first thing you need to do dear is diversify. By doing this it will 'ease' the effects of the highly volatile stock market. You're not going to see as many negative hits. By diversify, I mean ponder around a bit with international stocks, large cap, small cap, and penny stocks. Even bonds if you're above the age of 45 with a significant investment. I like mutual funds personally. Now you don't have to go this route, because yes it does hurt my pride to pay someone else to manage what I'm to timeless to learn, but there's a security here. They will use the knowledge they have learned over the years and keep your stocks pointed in the right direction. Also know that the stock market is like a garden. It blooms and then dies with the seasons, but if well maintained and consistently added to, some day will be beautiful and great. Understand you're going to have ups and down, and that if you are patient, and find security in your own personal way, you'll be progressive. Timing the stock market never worked for anyone. In fact, history shows that an even increase in value over an extended period of time will always out preform heavy increases at unknown intervals. Good luck to you and your finances. |

sorry brother, all these companies are not even listed now. u have no option but to forget about them. Infuture please invest only in blue chip companies. whether they go up or down ( prices ) they are easily encahsable and u do get your money back. it looks like u have been investing in all dud public issues and are now stuck up with them. it happens. i also committed this mistake in eighties and i learnt bittely from my mistake, I still have shares certificates of 14 companies which dont even exist now. u are not the only one in this predicament , there are hundreds other like u and me
just foget about this money as a bad invesmtent. |
