put it in the highest interest lowest fee savings account that you can, then make it a goal to save up $10,000 - $20,000 and then start talking to a broker. Of course I am assuming that you already for 6 months of living expenses saved, if not do that first. |

u will be vey surprised but we in india teach kids to start trading with exactly that kinda amount..Rs 5000 ..abt 120 USD
so here goes the deal
the kid is asked to study a veggie crop cycle..buy Rs 5000 worth during harvest..wait till it runs short in markets and make a killing
my son whos 14 put Rs 5000 in garlic at Rs 28 /kg in march(harvest time) 2007 and sold it at 67/kg in august(rains time here in india)
so there goes..give it a shot/.just learn abt storage a bit. and crop cycle in ur area for the crop u buy.
