You could buy 830 shares of Harvest Energy Trust ( HTE) a Canadian oil and gas company ...you would get a monthly check of about $249.00. Multiply that by 12... $ 2988....0r approx 14.9% interest for the year ( and more if the share price should increase)
Log on to E*trade...fill out an app...send check...buy on-line...
do it before the 20th of this month ...start getting the $249.00 checks on Apr 15.
(...and if you choose to re-invest...your $ 249. would buy about 10 more shares ...your next check would be $ 252. and again ? ..$ 255....again ? ... $ 258.) |

With such a short time horizon you are stuck with CD's. Anything else is too risky.
Go to www.bankrate.com to find the best rate. |

You want to stay away from anything to risky. Talk with a financial planner, I think they're the most objective. I found mine at http://www.plannerconnect.com, it's a pretty good site. |

Hello,
I also had a similair problem as you have.
I had a good amount of money, and wanted it to grow.
So I looked around on the internet to find something that is:
1) giving me great returns towards a relatively small risk
2) Professional people who know what they where doing with my money.
I'm glad to say I finally found a moneymanager who is capable of giving me good returns and give me a great support.
On this blog you can follow up all the results that he is making:
http://my-robottrader.blogspot.com/
My money is working for me, in a little over two months I already have a ROI of 71%.
So you don't hear me complaining!
Annyway if you would like to get in touch with my moneymanager to have some more information feel free to contact me you can send an email to me at derrekmay at gmail.com.
Then I'll give you the email adress of my moneymanager

I work in a bank.
Most banks have "investment" savings accounts like notice accounts.
These accounts USUALLY GET MORE INTEREST than other savings accounts.
You have to pay a minimum amount each month though, but it's usually not that much.
In South Africa it's about R100.00 per month.
You also have to give the bank notice (either 32, 60 or 90 days) before you can close the account.
Go to your bank and speak to a sales consultant. They will be able to tell you about all the savings accounts they have.
If you're not satisfied, go to another bank.
Hope this helps :) |

If you can find a successful futures trader that will take investors, your 20k can quadruple and then some. |
