Alternative energy sources seems to be the buzz these days.
Alternative household lighting sources (LED) and battery sources for cell phones are going to be your best bet. Remember...diversify......I wouldn't throw all of my eggs in one basket if you know what I mean...if your going to invest into technology that means some things you invest in are not going to pan out. Try to find a investment firm that specializes in this sector for advice....otherwise it's gambling.
oil and energy alternatives are going to be a bit risky for the next few months if you don't know what your looking for....that will morph and change as time goes by so I would steer clear right now but keep your eyes open because things can change quickly. |

I would not invest the whole amount in any one thing but for a small portion consider Composite Technologies. They are involved in electric generation windmills and transmission systems. Very cheap stock at around $1.40 but don't put much in. It is interesting and cutting edge. |

Cutting edge ideas have a tendency to leave you bloody. About 9 out of 10 end in failure. But you asked for it.
NVEC very cutting edge idea. Use the electon spin to store information.
ZOLT although it is not cutting edge it does have some potential for exceptional returns. Carbon fiber has a great deal of uses that are just now beginning to be realized. VWSYF is using ZOLT carbon fiber to make blades for its wind turbines.
Here is a real speculative one. Don't quite know what to make of the technology. LQMT Liquid metal is the product. Up 16% today. Darn. I wish someone would tell me ahead of time about these things. |

You should learn to trade. Some professional traders can make 2 to 3 did-git returns on their money year after year.
All you need is to learn a few rules and develop a system.

I don't know if you see Forex tools as technology, but I do know people can make tons of money with it, if you know what you ae doing.
I would recommend to take a mannaged forex account.
